Peaceful Parenting
This is a two part series hosted by Certified Biofield Tuning Practitioner Damla Aktekin.
Dysfunctional parenting dynamics often get carried from generation to generation. As parents, high stress levels can cause us to reactively fall into engrained behavioral patterns that were modeled in our own upbringing.
Despite not wanting to embody some of the parenting strategies displayed during our childhood, sometimes we instinctively resort to these embedded patterns without even realizing it. Alternatively, sometimes we subconsciously recognize what didn’t work for us and jump to the other extreme - which is not necessarily a healthier option either. Dysfunctional parenting tendencies are a result of a lack of awareness and a mismanagement of stress, both of which do not allow you to act fully from a position of loving neutrality.
This series of two one hour Biofield Tuning Group Audio Sessions, hosted by Certified Practitioner Damla Atkekin, aims to release all that no longer positively serves us as parents or our children.
It is essential for us as parents to remember that our children are unique individuals in the process of their own self discovery. They each have their own triggers, sensory thresholds and learning styles - all of which are continuously evolving as they mature.
By heightening our awareness of the unique nature of our children’s and our own patterns, we can consciously choose parenting strategies that allow us to effectively access our children, enriching our relationships while fostering a peaceful, supportive learning environment.
(Please Note: Aside from an initial introduction, Damla will be providing very little verbal feedback and/or coaching. The intention behind the Practitioner remaining quiet throughout this session, is to allow you to be fully present within your body and deeply dive into the beauty of the tones produced by the tuning forks. )
