Training & Education

I’m familiar with tuning forks and sound therapy. Can I skip Level 1 - Foundations and sign up for Level 2 - Practitioner Training?

plus

You must complete both Level 1 Foundations and Level 2 Practitioner Training to be eligible for certification as a Biofield Tuning Practitioner who can work with clients professionally. Our Level 1 Foundations course and post-class homework are prerequisites to enroll in Level 2 Practitioner Training.

Please note that the curriculum for Level 1 training is specifically designed to teach fundamental techniques that are necessary to understand and perform the more advanced techniques taught in Level 2. While reading/watching videos, and attending other courses can support this education, it does not replace it. Our Level 1 class includes a practicum portion where you work with a volunteer to learn and practice with your tuning forks under the guidance and review of our instructors. This is essential to your success in Level 2.

What is the difference between the Standard virtual and Accelerated virtual classes?

plus

Standard virtual classes are designed for students who enjoy learning at a more moderate pace over shorter, more frequent class days. Each standard course runs 1-2 days per week for a duration of 6 weeks. Each class is about 3 hours long.

Accelerated virtual classes are designed for students who wish to learn at a more intensive pace. This class format takes place over two non-consecutive weekends, with longer 7-hour class days. Class can be completed in a matter of two cumulative weekends.

What do I need for my practicums, and when are they?

plus

Our virtual classes require you to have a demonstration volunteer present with you for your 3 practicums. Each student is scheduled for 3 different practicum days and times to conduct their practice session. Each practicum slot is about 45 minutes long - some are slightly longer, and some are slightly shorter depending on the technique you are being asked to demonstrate.

Your volunteer only needs to be present for your assigned practicum slots and you will be given detailed information on the exact times they are required to be on hand for you to perform your techniques. This information would be sent to you in the weeks leading up to class.

Refer to our practicum guidelines in order to learn more about how to best prepare.

Can I use the tuning forks I already have and still attend your training(s)?

plus

We do require students to use Biofield Tuning brand tuning forks and tools for class. We can attest the quality and tone of our products, and using them eliminates the need to troubleshoot variables/issues that may arise with other brands’ tools during class.

How much time should I wait in between my Level 1 and Level 2 training?

plus

If you have graduated Level 1 Foundations training and completed all of the post-class homework requirements (shared with you at the end of class), you can begin Level 2 training as early as 6 weeks after graduating.

If you plan to move onto Level 2 Practitioner Training and earn your Biofield Tuning certification to practice professionally, you should do so within 1 year of graduating Level 1 Foundations.

If more than 1 year passes, you will be asked to complete a full session/evaluation with a Biofield Tuning instructor or to audit a class at an additional cost to ensure the material is fresh in your mind before advancing.

Are virtual classes recorded?

plus

Our classes are always live and interactive and are not recorded. Our class structure does include some recorded video review as part of the self study, reading materials, as well as live lecture and classroom discussion.

The practicum portion of your training will allow you to both demonstrate the techniques you are learning, as well as observe your classmates, all under the guidance of Biofield Tuning Instructors. With our classes you will enjoy an engaging virtual classroom experience and personalized feedback!

How are your virtual classes different from your in-person classes?

plus

Our virtual classes are designed for students who are proficient in technology and who enjoy learning from the convenience of their homes. Our virtual classes still boast a live and an engaging virtual classroom experience, and include practicum sessions where you must have a volunteer present with you to do real-time, hands-on practice of the techniques you’ve been learning in class.

In-person classes currently meet at select locations in the United States. They still include virtual components, such as pre-class videos and review materials, and some levels also meet online prior to the in-person class dates so everyone can get calibrated and ready to jump right in. For in-person class, you will be partnered with a classmate for practicums and you do not need to arrange to have a volunteer. It’s a great opportunity to meet other tuners face-to-face!

The curriculum for both in-person and virtual classes is the same, it just comes down to how you prefer to learn and what fits best into your schedule and routine!

Can I pay for my training in installments via payment plan?

plus

Students located in the United States may be eligible for a payment plan via ShopPay, a third-party payment offering available through our store.

If you are an international student, please contact us at info@biofieldtuning.com to see if there are additional options available to you.
